FALL CUE 2014

I am excited to be going to FALL CUE. I am always  an avid learner for things technology. I am excited to learn more innovative things to use in my classroom. I want to share what I will learn with others in my learning family and community!

Going back to school!

I can't believe it I am going back to school!!! This is the first time I am taking a summer session MATH course. I am really excited. I really enjoy Math and haven't taken a Math course since my college undergrad years. I am excited to go on this new venture!!! Stay tuned!!!

Rib Cook-Off!!!

Yesterday I went with some friends to the Nugget's Rib Cook-Off! It was a lot of fun and the weather was surprisingly cooler than it was before. Last year it was so hot that I had at least 3 big glasses of lemonade. Which for some reason tasted different this year. I think this year was a hit. There were more people than I had remembered and this is the fourth year that I had gone.I felt like I was a cow moving through with the rest of the herd. However, the herd would not go one direction and would often stop dead in its tracks. I had to maneuver around everyone else.

Luckily I did not eat a lot of greasy items this time around so I didn't need any TUMS. Last year I had the fried zucchini, beer battered onion rings and the Texas taters.

I cannot wait until next year. I think it is a fun and inexpensive event to go to during the labor day weekend.

Training Day!

Ok today was a day full of training. It was nice to get the information and I can't wait to put it to good use. Now we'll have to see if I can use it all!!!  I think it will definitely enhance the way I do my job. If only everyone were able to use the same technology piece across the board. I think until that happens everyone will not be on the same page. I am glad that I have access to the best possible technology tools. If you have no clue what I am talking about just stay tuned and I will let you know more as I go...

My first post.

This is my first blog. I am trying it out to see if this is a good way to keep all my friends and family up-to-date on all the things that I do. Despite all the things that has happened, I like doing my job and am very thankful to have one. I know there are lots of people that are jobless and are struggling. I feel for them and wish that their circumstances will get better!!! This year I am going to share my adventures and share some pics whenever possible. So stay tuned!!!
